Most AI-in-a-box products are just "wrappers" around a chat window. True AI-native SaaS goes deeper: it rethinks the software workflow to treat the AI as an agent, not just an assistant.
Stop designing "tools" where the user clicks twenty buttons to get a report. Design "outcome-oriented" interfaces where the user states an intent (e.g., "Analyze last month’s churn rate and generate a presentation") and the software handles all the sub-tasks: querying, data crunching, formatting, and emailing.
In AI-native software, feedback is the main input. The UI should make it incredibly easy for users to provide corrections, accept suggestions, or ask for iterations. The model’s long-term performance is directly tied to the quantity and quality of the feedback you collect from the UI.
