Most AI today feels "forgetful" because it has no persistent memory. Mem0 (formerly Embedchain) provides the "long-term memory" layer needed to build AI applications that actually learn from their users.
Mem0 automatically stores and retrieves information about a user's preferences, past choices, and evolving context. This allows an AI assistant to remember that you prefer Python over JavaScript, or that you are currently working on a specific project, without you having to remind it in every session.
As the AI interacts more with the user, its "memory" grows more refined. Mem0 uses semantic search to find the most relevant past experiences for the current conversation, ensuring that the AI's responses are always contextually relevant and deeply personalized, leading to much higher user satisfaction and retention.
