Baidu has officially unveiled "GenFlow 4.0," the latest iteration of its AI-driven office automation platform. The company also reached a major milestone, announcing that its "Office Agent" ecosystem has surpassed 100 million monthly active users. GenFlow 4.0 introduces deep integration with Baidu’s Ernie 5.0 model, enabling complex multi-step reasoning and autonomous task execution across enterprise software.
The new version features "Intelligent Flow Orchestration," allowing users to create complex workflows using natural language commands. For instance, a manager can say, "Summarize all sales reports from the last quarter and draft a personalized feedback email for each regional head," and the AI Agent will handle the entire process seamlessly. Baidu claims this level of automation can save up to 15 hours of manual work per employee each week.
With 100 million users, Baidu is now the dominant player in the Chinese AI productivity market. The company plans to open up more APIs to third-party developers to further expand the GenFlow ecosystem, aiming to create a "Universal Operating System for the Modern Office."
