Opera has rolled out a major update to its Neon browser, introducing “1-Minute Deep Research”, dual-model support (Gemini3Pro and Nano Banana Pro), and a new “Do” agent that lets users create and edit Google Docs using natural language. The service costs $19.99/month.

Key Features:

  • 1-Minute Deep Research: Breaks complex queries into subtasks handled in parallel by multiple AI “researchers,” delivering structured, cited reports in 5–20 minutes—filling the gap between quick answers and full research.

  • Real-Time Model Switching: Users can toggle between Gemini3Pro and Nano Banana Pro mid-conversation with one click, enabling seamless multi-stage workflows (e.g., design → code → documentation).

  • Google Docs Automation: The “Do” agent interprets natural-language commands in the address bar to draft, edit, rename, or enrich documents—ideal for meeting notes, reports, or lesson plans—cutting manual copy-paste work.

Availability:
Currently invite-only. Opera is emailing download links in batches; interested users can join the waiting list to apply.
