At a recent all-hands meeting at xAI’s San Francisco headquarters, CEO Elon Musk laid out an audacious roadmap for the company, declaring that xAI is on track to become the world’s leading artificial intelligence firm—provided it successfully navigates a critical two- to three-year window.

Described by insiders as “electric” and “high-energy,” the meeting featured bold predictions and strategic insights. Most notably, Musk stated that Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)—an AI system matching or surpassing human-level cognition—could arrive as early as 2026, with xAI positioned to deliver it.
