Ctrip Business Travel Launches 7 AI Industry Agents

Ctrip’s business travel division has released its most comprehensive AI ecosystem update to date, introducing seven specialized "Industry Agents" and opening 17 basic AI capabilities to its enterprise partners. These agents are designed to handle specific domains such as "Expense Compliance," "Traveler Safety," and "Dynamic Policy Optimization."

By opening up its basic capabilities—including real-time flight data, hotel availability, and semantic search—Ctrip is allowing companies to build their own custom AI travel assistants. This "Platform-as-a-Service" (PaaS) approach is intended to accelerate the digital transformation of the corporate travel industry, making it more efficient and personalized.

The "Expense Agent," for example, can automatically audit every transaction in a traveler’s itinerary, ensuring it aligns with the company’s internal policies and local tax laws. Ctrip believes that this "Agentic Ecosystem" will set a new standard for corporate travel management, reducing administrative overhead by up to 50%.
