SAIC Roewe has officially launched the latest generation of the Roewe i6 sedan, with a starting price of approximately 65,900 Yuan. The new model represents a significant step forward in the integration of consumer electronics and automotive technology, featuring a highly advanced "Smart Cockpit" designed for the next generation of digital-native drivers.
At the heart of the vehicle’s intelligence is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, which provides the high-performance computing power needed for smooth multi-screen interactions and complex background processing. More notably, the Roewe i6 is one of the first mass-produced vehicles to fully integrate ByteDance’s Doubao Large Model, enabling a more natural and proactive voice assistant that can handle everything from navigation to climate control and personalized entertainment recommendations.
The integration of the Doubao AI allows the vehicle to learn from the driver’s habits over time, offering suggestions such as "The weather is getting warmer, should I adjust the seat ventilation for you?" or proactively finding charging stations during long trips. This shift from reactive commands to proactive assistance marks a new era in the "Software-Defined Vehicle" market.
