Anthropic Launches Claude Opus4.5 on Amazon Bedrock

Anthropic has released Claude Opus4.5, its most advanced foundational model to date, now available on Amazon Bedrock—a fully managed platform offering access to top AI models.
Opus4.5 delivers significant performance gains over Sonnet4.5 and Opus4.1 in coding, intelligent agents, office automation, and computer use—all at one-third the cost of previous Opus models.
The model excels in software engineering, scoring 80.9% on SWE-bench Verified, and features improved multilingual coding, better test coverage, and smarter architectural decisions. It can also auto-generate polished PowerPoint, Excel, and Word documents, making it ideal for precision-sensitive fields like finance.
New developer tools include dynamic tool search—letting agents find and load needed tools on the fly—and tool usage examples for more reliable execution.
The cost of using Claude Opus4.5 is $5 per million input tokens and $25 per output token, Opus4.5 supports cross-region inference for high throughput during peak demand. It’s now live on the Amazon Bedrock console for enterprise and agent-based workflows.
