Tiantan Hospital Unveils Doctor Xiaojun 2.0: A New Standard in Neuro-Radiology

Beijing Tiantan Hospital, in partnership with Yinghe Yimei, has officially launched "Doctor Xiaojun 2.0," the world’s first AI model capable of providing comprehensive diagnostic support for all cranial diseases detectable via CT scan. While previous AI tools were limited to specific conditions like strokes or hemorrhages, version 2.0 acts as a generalized neuro-radiology consultant. It leverages an expansive clinical database to automate the diagnostic workflow, from initial lesion detection to the generation of a final medical report. This breakthrough is expected to significantly alleviate the workload of senior radiologists and reduce diagnostic errors in emergency departments, where rapid and accurate neuro-assessment is critical for patient survival.
