Huawei’s Qinyun business unit has launched a turnkey "Education AI Solution" designed to bring state-of-the-art AI infrastructure and curriculum to schools and universities. The solution includes everything from localized AI compute clusters to a pre-installed library of over 100 hands-on AI projects for students.
The core of the offering is the "Huawei AI Education Center" (AIEC), which provides students with access to high-performance GPUs and a variety of open-source large models for experimentation. The curriculum focuses on "AI Literacy," teaching students not just how to use AI tools, but how to build, fine-tune, and ethically govern them.
By integrating HarmonyOS with these large models, Huawei is creating a seamless campus experience where AI can assist in everything from automated grading to personalized student tutoring. The initiative aims to prepare the next generation of the workforce for an AI-native economy, ensuring that students have practical experience with the tools that will define their careers.
